ROCHO INDUCTION has completed the installation and commissioning of an automate forging system for a forging parts manufacturer in Europe, which is used for on-line heating of steel bars with a diameter of 40mm and a length of 100mm, and then bend and forged.
This forging system is designed for a maximum operating temperature of 900-1100 degrees. The continuous variable speed conveyor delivery more than 200 parts per hour, which are loaded by robots and unloaded manually.
The forging system consists of medium frequency induction heating power supply, fully automatic feeding system, cooling system and temperature control system. It adopts PLC and touch screen control system, which can set power, pushing speed and discharge temperature.
Compared with traditional heating methods such as fuel and coal, induction heating provide a quick heating speed and can continuously perform forging tasks. There is no need to worry about the waste of heating blanks caused by power outages or equipment failures, and save material and forging die costs.
