The nitriding furnace is a surface nitriding furnace, and the surface nitriding makes the surface have a certain hardness. Nitriding furnace chemical heat treatment refers to a heat treatment process in which a metal or alloy workpiece is kept in an active medium at a certain temperature, so that one or several elements penetrate into its surface layer to change its chemical composition, structure and performance.

Nitriding furnace is mainly used for gas carburizing and direct quenching of workpiece, gas carburizing quenching with intermediate cooling, gas carburizing protective gas cooling, recarburizing, carbonitriding and quenching, nitrocarburizing (soft nitriding) , austempering, bright normalizing, bright annealing, brazing, and sintering.

High hardness and wear resistance
After nitridation process, the nitrided steel parts such as 38CrMoAlA, the hardness of the surface layer  can be reached to HV1000~1200 (HRC70). This is obviously something that we generally cannot achieve through quenching or carburizing technology. Due to the high different hardness, the wear resistance is also very good, and it can resist the wear of various data types.

High anti-seizure performance
Some high-speed relatively sliding parts are easy to be stuck or scratched when they lack lubrication or overheat in a short time, while nitrided parts can maintain high hardness and high anti-seizure performance.

High corrosion resistance
After nitriding process, a dense nitride layer with high chemical stability is formed on the surface of the metal part, which significantly improves the corrosion resistance and can resist the corrosion of the atmosphere, tap water, water vapor, benzene, oil stains and weak reducing solutions, so as to maintain good resistance corrosive.

Small and regular deformation
Because the nitriding temperature is low, generally 480~580℃, the heating and cooling processing speed is very slow, and the core of the part does not manage the transformation of the organizational structure, and the structure of the quenched and tempered state is still maintained, so the material deformation of the parts after nitriding has little effect.

The product surface is activated by nano-gas (h2s) before nitridation, and the sulfide diffuses to the product surface during the nitridation process. By forming sulfides (steel) on the top surface of the product, initial service properties and friction properties (through solid lubrication) are improved. The nitridation process have provide significant features: full computer control, uniform structure and hardness, and good repeatability of nitriding layer.

The characteristics of gas sulfur impregnation nitriding are: gas sulfur impregnation nitriding is carried out with N2, NH3 and NM gas as raw materials; the nitriding temperature is 400 ~ 620 ℃; the process treatment time is about 3-5 hours. Gas-impregnated nitriding process has good wear resistance, flame resistance, seizure resistance, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance and vibration resistance.
