Brass Alloy Forging Process
ROCHO INDUCTION brass and copper alloy billet heating forging system adopts all solid-state IGBT frequency conversion control technology, IGBT drive circuit provide the quick heating speed to reduce oxidation and deformation of the copper blank, to provide more stable and better heating uniformity.
The Principle Of Induction Forging
ROCHO induction forging system adopts the principle of medium-frequency electromagnetic induction heating. After the induction coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated, and magnetic lines of force cut metal bars such as steel bars, copper bars, iron bars, aluminum bars, etc., thus generating induced current, namely, eddy current, inside the bars. 

The heat of induction heating generates induction current inside the bar, so the metal material is heated evenly and the temperature difference between the core and the surface is extremely small. The induced current enables the metal bar to be rapidly and evenly heated by reaching the required temperature in a very short heating time; so the surface of the heated bar is less oxidized with less workpiece deformation. 
All-Round Protection Function
The brass and copper alloy billet heating forging system adopt medium frequency induction heating power supply, which has multiple protection functions including over-current protection, water shortage protection, over-heat protection, over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, phase failure/loss protection and other alarm functions. It will automatically alarm in case of faults, greatly improving the reliability of the equipment.
High Product Quality
The medium-frequency induction heating forging furnace can reach the required temperature in a very short time, significantly reducing the oxidation of metals; PLC automatic control system can adjust the operating power, frequency and other parameters, with high temperature control accuracy, small oxidation and burning loss, and ensure product quality.
PLC Automatic Control System
The medium frequency induction heating forging furnace can be equipped with a PLC automatic control system to realize automatic feeding, automatic blanking, automatic completion of heating process, reducing labor costs, and high production efficiency. The application of temperature control system can realize accurate control of temperature and improve product quality and qualified rate.
Continues Forging Process
With the pneumatic feeding method adopted can realize the adjustment of the power of the equipment and the feeding speed for bars with different lengths and diameters so that the machine can continuously or intermittently automatically push out the heated bars to ensure the continuity of the following forging process, realize automatic production and greatly improve production efficiency.
Save Material Cost
Compared with the traditional heating methods such as oil heating and coal heating, induction heating possesses fast heating speed, can continuously carry out forging tasks, does not waste heating blanks caused by power or equipment failure, and saves the cost of materials and forging dies.
Eco-Friendly Equipment
As the heating method can provide uniform heating and the temperature difference between the core and the surface is extremely small, it is low in heat radiation and dust pollution, and meets the requirements of environmental protection during operation. 

It does not cause line-side pollution or heat-generating of the power supply transformer and compensation capacitor of the substation, or interfere the operation of other equipment, and can reduce the capacity of the power supply transformer. It can be equipped with automatic feeder to significantly improve production efficiency and reduce labor costs.
