Working Principle
The medium frequency induction melting furnace is a frequency conversion device that converts three-phase power frequency current into single-phase medium frequency current. This alternating magnetism creates resistance in the metal, achieve the purpose of heating and melting the metal. 
Advantage
Induction furnaces are mainly used for melting steel, iron, copper, aluminum and alloys. The power ranges from 250kW to 5000kW, and the output capacity ranges from 0.35T to 10T. The steel shell furnace is welded with high-quality steel structure. The furnace body is safe and durable, and has a long life.
Structural Features
The steel shell induction melting furnace is composed of medium frequency power supply, compensation capacitor, steel shell furnace body, yoke, water-cooled cable, hydraulic station and tilting furnace control box.
Steel Shell Furnace
The furnace body is welded with high-quality steel structure, which is safer, stronger and more durable; the open steel frame structure is easy for daily maintenance and repair.
Induction Coil
The induction coil is composed of oxygen-free copper pipes, which is solid, durable and highly conductive. The induction coil is enclosed by a magnetic yoke, covering an area of more than 65%.
Magnetic Yoke
The yoke made of silicon steel sheet has a shielding effect on the magnetic lines of force generated by the induction coil, reduces the magnetic flux leakage, improves the thermal efficiency, and saves nearly 5% of the energy consumption than the aluminum shell furnace body.
Leak-Proof Furnace Alarm Device
Equipped with a leak-proof furnace alarm device. After the furnace is used for a certain level, the furnace wall will gradually become thinner. The current will change according to the change of the furnace wall. After the current change reaches the preset value, an alarm will be given in advance. The power supply is automatically cut off, and to ensure the safety of the operators.
Tilting Furnace Hydraulic Cylinder System
The steel shell furnace uses hydraulic tilting furnace, which is safe and reliable. The hydraulic pump station is composed of hydraulic pump and drive motor, emergency pump, motor starting device, oil tank, oil return and suction filter device. 

The furnace tilting console is used to control the tilting of the furnace body, and the tilting, stopping and resetting of the furnace body can be realized through the buttons and handles on the hydraulic operating console.
